Position Summary

As a Scancode Sales Executive, you are responsible to drive new and incremental sales of Scancode solutions and services to new mid-market and/or growing business customers.  You are empowered to develop your personal sales plan and manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, strategy, closing and forecasting upcoming sales activities.

The successful candidate will have a consultative approach to business development, and proven experience in understanding business processes and customer expectations. He/she will have the ability to develop solution proposals that encompass all aspects of the Scancode logistics software footprint as well as deliver highly effective presentations that demonstrate the complete value proposition.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new and incremental business in mid to high market segments.
  • Represent Scancode in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Work independently within a team framework.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle including prospecting, lead qualification, account strategy, planning, presenting the solution, following up and closing the deal.
  • Understand and document a comprehensive process analysis for each opportunity that delivers exceptional value and results.
  • Develop effective solutions and recommendations which are supported by your findings.
  • Establish annual revenue targets for each market segment.
  • Create and execute on a business plan to achieve your goals.
  • Some travel may be required.

Recommended Skills

  • 3+ years of successful IT solutions sales.
  • Sales account management in a similar discipline.
  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients through all available mediums.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize sales opportunities.
  • Results-driven with proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude.
  • Prior experience in technical sales of software platforms or end to end solutions in medium to large enterprises.
  • Excellent technical skills and strong analytical and process oriented skills.
  • Experience and/or conceptual knowledge of business system integration.
  • Technical knowledge of general network infrastructures may be helpful.
