Position Summary
As a Scancode Project Manager, you will lead a diverse team of skilled professionals through the planning, implementation and rollout of Scancode software and system installations. Your skills as a detail-oriented organizer will co-ordinate well with your interpersonal skills, to promote a policy of open communication for all project participants and ensure team success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accomplishing his/her assigned project objectives as well as multiple projects simultaneously where each project may be at a different stage in their project life cycle. This includes creating clear and attainable project milestones, building the project requirements, coordinating resources and adhering to the project constraints of scope, time and cost for each project.Roles/Responsibilities
- Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle using our proprietary system.
- Produce and maintain the necessary project related documentation; Statement of Work, Modification Proposals, Site Documents.
- Take responsibility for change controls and change requests on projects.
- Plan and chair the initial Implementation meeting.
- Report progress to the customer and Scancode team members.
- Proactive identification and management of project issues.
- Ensure the quality of delivery and customer satisfaction of assigned projects.
- Identify own knowledge, skill-set and personal development needs.
Recommended Skills
- Experience in the delivery of software solutions.
- Educated in Computer Science curriculum – PM certification(s) optional.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- At least five years experience of running IT projects.
- Good technical skills and technical awareness.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in MS SQL or equivalent Database architectures.
- Experience with Java and VB Scripting.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Bi-Lingual (English/French).
- Previous Experience in Logistics Industry.
